Star Trek: Enterprise is set at the beginning of the Star Trek series timeline and follows the 22nd century adventures of Captain Jonathan Archer aboard the Enterprise NX-01 during the early days of interstellar travel.

Captain Archer was the commanding officer of the Starship Enterprise NX-01, United Earth’s first fully-fledged starship, from 2151 until 2161.

Responsible for expanding the United Earth presence in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants and making First Contact with more than a dozen species, including the Klingons, Andorians, and Xindi, he eventually went on to become the President of the United Federation of Planets from 2184 until 2192.
