After releasing the standard five coin proof set for the 2017 America the Beautiful Quarter Dollars earlier in January, the US Mint have now made available the silver set for those same coins.

The America the Beautiful Quarters 2017 Silver Proof Set contains the same five coin designs as with the regular proof set, only here the coins are struck from .900 Fineness silver to a fine proof finish.

Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri
This design depicts Alley Mill, a steel roller mill built in 1894. This merchant mill was used to convert wheat into flour. Much of the original milling equipment is still in place, and visitors to the park can tour the mill. Inscriptions are “OZARK RIVERWAYS”, “MISSOURI”, “2017” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”.

George Rogers Clark National Historical Park in Indiana
This design depicts George Rogers Clark leading his men through the flooded plains approaching Fort Sackville. Inscriptions are “GEORGE ROGERS CLARK”, “INDIANA”, “2017” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”.

The obverse, as usual, features the revised 1932 John Flannagan effigy of George Washington.
The set is shipped encapsulated in a standard US Mint plastic display case enclosed in a printed vanity cover.

The Mint has placed no order or production limit on these sets, thusly demand will determine the final mintage figures. It is available to order directly from the Mint for US$31.95 each.
The next major release in the America the Beautiful schedule will be the Effigy Mounds three coin set, expected in late February 2017.
